Kevin Imhoff
OWNER & FINANCIAL ADVISOR
Kevin founded his financial services business in 1985 and has since guided thousands of families and businesses. In 2016, he launched Blue Diamond Financial Coaching LLC to help families build a strong financial foundation. Initially focused on investments, Kevin recognized the need for a holistic approach and pioneered concepts like The LESR Way, Money Temperament, and Five Financial Basics, offering courses to churches, businesses, and families.
Kevin and his wife, Ruth, share a partnership in life, business, and sports; he coached soccer for over 14 years while Ruth managed teams. They have hosted international students from various countries, enriching their family life.
Married for over 42 years, Kevin and Ruth have a son, Jamison, a grandson, and consider their Brazilian “adopted” son, Otavio, as family. Kevin, an Investment Advisor Representative with Series 65 and insurance licenses, focuses on developing financial and life strategies for families and small businesses.
Jamison Imhoff
FINANCIAL ADVISOR
Jamison grew up with a strong foundation in financial principles from his parents, Kevin and Ruth. During his summers, he worked at Blue Diamond Financial Solutions, gaining firsthand experience in the financial industry. After graduating from college, Jamison chose to join the Blue Diamond team, driven by a desire to help others achieve their financial goals.
As a Financial Advisor, Jamison manages his own client base and oversees all investment trading for Kevin’s clients. He also enjoys researching and evaluating investment options for inclusion in the firm’s portfolio models. Additionally, Jamison has implemented technical tools to enhance business efficiency and marketing efforts.
Jamison graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Mid-Continent University in December 2013. He is an Investment Advisor Representative with a Series 65 security registration and is also licensed in life insurance.
A former soccer player in middle school, high school, and college, Jamison met his wife, Mary Kate, during his college years. They have been married for over 10 years and have one son.
Ruth Imhoff
OFFICE MANAGER
Ruth has been a key partner in the business since its founding in 1985 alongside her husband, Kevin. Over the years, she has deepened her knowledge as the industry has evolved, mastering the administrative side of financial services. As the Office Manager, Ruth excels in organization, staff management, business finances, attention to detail, compliance oversight, and problem-solving.
In her spare time, Ruth enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren, including their Brazilian “son” and his family. She also loves biking, taking long walks, reading historical fiction and fantasy, weekly game nights with her dad and sisters, and traveling to historical sites in the U.S. and Europe.
Susan Olson
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Susan Olson joined our team in July 2019 and brings a wealth of administrative experience to the role. Her background includes managing a daycare, church administration, and serving as an executive secretary for the CEO of a prominent company in Lansing. Susan also has experience in financial services as a registered representative, bank teller, tax preparation assistant, and life insurance agent. Her diverse skill set makes her a valuable asset to our team, complemented by her compassion and dedication to serving our clients.
Kevin and Ruth have known Susan her entire life; she is Kevin’s “favorite” and only sister, making their opportunity to work together even more special. Susan, Kevin, and Ruth attended Oklahoma Wesleyan University together, where Susan met her husband, Mitch. They have been married for over 35 years and have five adult children and four grandchildren.
Amanda Schartow
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Amanda comes to us with 15 years of administrative non-profit experience including bookkeeping, event planning, grant writing and organization branding. She and her husband are the founders and directors of a Building Twentyone Teen Center where she served as Director of Development. She has worked in student ministry for over 25 years. Her experience in multi-tasking and taking the vision to the next level make her perfect for serving our clients!
Amanda has grown up in the Lansing area and attended Global University-Lansing where she met her husband Benjamin. They have been married for 23 years and live in Holt with their 3 teenage children.
